Nicklin LLP shortlisted for top business award

Halesowen-based chartered accountancy firm Nicklin LLP is celebrating after being shortlisted for a prestigious award.

The firm has been named as a finalist of the ‘Independent Firm of the Year – Midlands’ category at this year’s British Accountancy Awards, organised by industry publication Accountancy Age.

The awards recognise the very best of Britain’s accountancy profession, with judges paying close attention to details such as successes, customer service and innovation.

Managing partner Harvey Owen said: “We are delighted to have reached the finals of the British Accountancy Awards. There are six finalists in this Midlands category so to reach the shortlist is a real achievement. Credit for this must go to everyone at Nicklin. Without their hard work and dedication, we would not be where we are today.”

Nicklin will learn if it has won at a ceremony taking place at The Brewery in London on 24 November.

Earlier this year, Nicklin was made a finalist in the ICAEW West Midland Chartered Accountant of the Year Awards and it won the ‘Most Innovative Large Firm’ category of the 2020 Innovation Awards 2014.
